Deployment Models

Depending on the size of property or group of properties, BrillantEZ HMS can be deployed differently to meet specific requirements.

• Standalone Server - for a single property scenario, a stand alone server will be located at the property to host the HMS database. Users will access the server via client-server application mode.
• Thin Client - the HMS database is housed on an off-property HMS server typically located at a central location. Multiple property databases can be configured on one HMS server, eliminating the requirement of a costly database server for each property. All client (workstation) processing is done on the thin server, which communicates with the remote HMS server.
• Centralized or Clustered Server(s) - as with the thin client configuration, the HMS database is housed on an off-property HMS server, typically located at a central location. Multiple property databases can be configured on one HMS server, eliminating the requirement of a costly database server for each property. Each property user accesses the HMS server(s) with client-server software.
